Arctic Exped is a small team of guides, photographers and outdoor specialists with an intimate knowledge of Iceland’s wildest landscapes.

Led by founder Julian O’Neil, we have spent years exploring the country beyond its familiar routes, building the local relationships and field knowledge that allow us to create journeys others simply cannot. From rarely visited glaciers and remote Highland valleys to private places far from the road, we know where to go, when to go and who to call.

We keep the team deliberately small. Each journey is designed privately and remains fluid on the ground, allowing us to respond to weather, conditions and unexpected opportunities rather than follow a predetermined itinerary.
