Visit an incredible ice cave within 2 hours from Reykjavik!

Begin your day with a prompt 8:00 AM departure from Reykjavik, embarking on a scenic drive to Hvolsvollur for a brief stop to refresh with light snacks and a bathroom break before continuing your journey.

From there, we will drive to the remarkable Solheimajokull Glacier, where you’ll be equipped with premium gear for your ice cave experience. A guided 45-minute walk across the glacier will bring you to the entrance of the ice cave, where you will have 30 minutes to explore the pristine, otherworldly environment of ice formations and ethereal blue hues. This unique opportunity to witness nature’s frozen artistry is one not to be missed. Following your time inside the cave, we’ll make the 45-minute return walk back to the vehicle, and begin the journey back to Reykjavik.

If time permits, enjoy a brief stop to admire the dramatic beauty of Skogafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls, two of Iceland’s most iconic natural wonders, before returning to Reykjavik.
